W <br />QUALIFICATION STATEMENT <br />For over 30 years W.A. Rasic Construction has been constructing infrastructure projects with a <br />focus on quality workmanship and meeting client needs, regardless of the circumstances. <br />Starting by focusing mainly on public works projects involving water, sewer and storm drain <br />facilities allowed the company to form a solid foundation from which to evolve from. Today, <br />W.A. Rasic Construction is one of the largest privately held civil construction companies in the <br />Western States constructing a variety of projects working with numerous water agencies, utility <br />agencies, developers, and private owners on projects that are too numerous to list. These <br />projects involve water service installations, pump station construction, water treatment facilities, <br />fueling systems, security systems, infrastructure projects at the major theme parks in Southern <br />California, construction of concrete facilities (structural & flat work), construction of <br />underground electrical and communication facilities and, of course, responses to emergency calls <br />for numerous clients. Almost every day we respond to an emergency for one of our clients. The <br />emergencies our firm responds to range from one -inch service leaks to major transmission main <br />repairs. It is very common to see multiple crews out on emergency calls on a daily basis <br />throughout our service area. <br />Leveraging our skilled pool of team members and our extensive fleet of owned equipment, W.A. <br />Rasic Construction provides and maintains one of the most comprehensive emergency response <br />programs in Southern California. With our proven ability to perform regardless of the size or <br />location of the emergency, it is no wonder that W.A. Rasic Construction responds to more <br />emergencies than virtually any other contractor in Southern California. <br />W.A. Rasic Construction will provide the following distinct and unique benefits to the City of <br />Santa Ana On -Call Emergency Sewer and Water Repairs Contract: <br />• Efficient & flexible system able to handle projects ranging from $2k to $100 million <br />• Ability to respond rapidly should the need arise, with consideration to ensure best value <br />• Extensive amount of company resources available to take on any project(s) regardless of <br />time of day /night or size of project(s) <br />• Emergency response plan in place to handle catastrophic events like major earthquakes <br />• On premises fuel (all locations) and resources to facilitate extended operation without <br />outside resources being available <br />• Satellite communication capabilities <br />• The assembly of a project team with extensive experience working under contracts of a <br />t of company owned equipment compliant with the most stringent emissions <br />in the country <br />i an objective to form long term, mutually beneficial relationships with clients <br />consistently providing quality products at a fair price <br />is in place with critical material suppliers and rental companies for after -hours <br />es so we can respond & complete emergency repairs regardless of the time of <br />
