• Scott Larson, represent HomeAid Orange County, community services <br />available to assist the City; need to consider all options; tap into all <br />resources; <br />• Scott Bernard, encourage the City to review the ordinance; consider <br />density of center <br />• Massimo Marini, representing Civic Center Roundtable; excited that Scott <br />Larson will help find a solution. <br />• Susan Bade Hull, represent Moreno Valley property near site; notice not <br />provided; property owners need to be notified; willing to work with the <br />City. <br />• Paul Gurmon spoke on Agenda Item 50A, 50B and 55A, City will have to <br />deal with homeless issue; concerned with Federal regulations of COPS <br />program; <br />• Alicia Rojas, disappointed that the County tabled the purchase of <br />Normandy; advocate for homeless shelter. <br />• Susana Sandoval, willing and able to work with the City and HomeAid <br />Orange County on selection of site. <br />• Dora Lopez, opined that democracy was in action and community <br />organized in tabling shelter at propose site; <br />• Irma Jauregui, thanked the City Council for unanimous support of the <br />community. <br />• Brizy Mae, representing Civic Center Roundtable, noted that citations <br />continue to be issued; request a permanent shelter and storage location. <br />• Joese Gloria, opined that wanding and over security is over indulgence of <br />public resources; disappointed that the County tabled the matter; also <br />opined that cross walks and better lighted needed to avoid any other <br />pedestrian fatalities. <br />• Michael Klubnikin, commented that way to help homeless is to recognize <br />them; need collaborative effort; churches provided much needed <br />assistance. <br />• Lou Correa, State Senator, need to find solution collaboratively. <br />Table matter indefinitely. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT - None <br />CONSENT CALENDAR ITEMS <br />MOTION: Approve Consent Calendar Items 10A through 31C as <br />recommended by staff with the following modifications: <br />• Councilmember Martinez pulled Agenda Item 13E, 20E and 25G for separate <br />discussion; and <br />• Councilmember Reyna pulled Agenda Item 20A for separate discussion. <br />CITY COUNCIL AGENDA 9 NOVEMBER 18, 2014 <br />1 0A -9 <br />
