NS -2864 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA AMENDING CHAPTER 18 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE TO DELETE <br />AND REPLACE ARTICLE XIII, TO DELETE SECTION 41-121, DELETE <br />SUBSECTION (B) OF SECTION 41-144, AND AMEND ARTICLE XII OF CHAPTER <br />21 BY ADDING SECTIONS 21-126, 21-127, 21-128, 21-129 AND 21-130 TO <br />REGULATE THE ESTABLISHMENT, OPERATION AND TAXATION OF MEDICAL <br />MARIJUANA COLLECTIVES AND COOPERATIVES <br />• Measure CC considered by the voters was unsuccessful. Voter proposed initiative had <br />competing measure that prevailed. Ordinance No. NS -2868 is hereby rejected. <br />Also on the Results of the Canvass of the General Election Returns are the results of the election <br />of certain officers. The accompanying resolution and Exhibit A identify the results of the balloting. <br />By adopting the resolution, the City Council declares elected the following individuals: <br />• Miguel A. Pulido, Mayor <br />• Michele Martinez - Councilmember, Ward 2 <br />• P. David Benavides - Councilmember, Ward 4; and <br />• Sal Tinajero - Councilmember, Ward 6. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />There is no fiscal impact associated with this action. <br />Maria D.
