I <br />NOW, M.tCeORE, BE IT RESOLVED that as a condition of approval <br />2 <br />of subdivisions containing within their boundaries portions of <br />3 <br />transportation corridors shown on the Transportation Element of the <br />4 <br />County General Plan the developer shall: <br />s <br />1. Dedicate right- of-way to County. <br />6 <br />2. Grade corridor sight -of -way in accordance with schematic <br />7 <br />plans approved on the tentative map and rough grading plans approved <br />by the Director, EMA. <br />9 <br />3. Construct arterial overcrossings for internal arterials. <br />10 <br />Width of overcrossing structure (i.e., number of travel lanes) is to <br />11 <br />be determined based upon vehicular and pedestrian traffic generated <br />12 <br />by the proposed project. <br />13 <br />4• Construct corridor travel lanes and interchange ramps <br />14 <br />required immediately for access to proposed development or system <br />continuity (closure of short gaps). Humber of lanes required is to i <br />NO <br />" - :V <br />16 <br />based upon traffic generated by proposed project. <br />•`i <br />';: <br />17 <br />5. Participate, among other designated beneficiaries, in any <br />Y � <br />IS <br />established corridor development fee program. Costs incurred pursuer. <br />19 <br />to conditions 2 through 4 shall be creditable against fees. Costs <br />20 <br />incurred pursuant to Condition 1 shall be creditable against fees to <br />21 <br />the extent that the develop=r=t nee program includes said right- of -wa; <br />22 <br />cost - <br />23 <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that EM is hereby directed to amend <br />24 <br />appropriate sections of the Subdivision and Zoning Codes to implement <br />25 <br />this policy. <br />a <br />2 <br />26 <br />BE IT PURwn RESOLVED that EMA is hereby directed to incorporate <br />27 <br />in General Plan amendment elements, zoning actions, area plans and <br />26 <br />site plans recommendations appropriate for implementing this policy. <br />-38- <br />
