r <br />• Bidder Questions — URS has budgeted eight (8) hours of staff time to address and respond to <br />bidder questions. <br />Pre -Bid Meeting — URS will prepare for and conduct one (1) two -hour pre -bid meeting along <br />with a site visit with potential bidders, if required. URS will prepare the meeting agenda, <br />exhibits, sign -in sheet, arnd minutes for the pre -bid meeting. <br />Task 5 - Construction Phase Services <br />URS will provide the City with as- needed construction phase services for the project URS is currently <br />providing construction support services for other municipalities and we understand that being <br />responsive, organized, and detail- oriented during the construction phase will help the City keep the <br />project on schedule and avoid contract change orders from the Contractor. URS' anticipated level of <br />service during the construction phase is detailed below: <br />5.1 Project Meetings — Upon the request of the City, URS will attend /conduct progress meetings of two <br />hours each during the course of project construction and provide agendas and meeting minutes <br />within five (5) working days of the meeting. For this task, we have budgeted twelve (t2) project <br />construction meetings. <br />52 Contractor's Request for Information (RFI) — URS will respond to Contractor's Requests for <br />Information to provide clarification or resolve discrepancies in the contract documents. URS will <br />maintain a log of RFIs using a standard submittal log. URS will return responses to the City within <br />five (5) working days or earlier. URS has budgeted for up to twenty -five (25) RFI's. <br />5.3 Site Visits — URS will make periodic field reviews and notify the City of any defects or deficiencies in <br />the Contractors work. URS understands that they have no authority to issue instruction on behalf of <br />the City or to deputize another to do so. URS has budgeted for twelve (12) site visits of two hours <br />each during construction. <br />5.4 Shop Drawing Reviews — URS has budgeted for the review of twenty (20) shop drawing submittals <br />and /or resubmittals. Submittals will be reviewed for completeness and conformity with the contract <br />documents. URS will provide comments to the City electronically using Adobe PDF Professional. <br />URS will maintain a log of submittals. URS will return comments to the City within fourteen calendar <br />days. <br />5.5 Change Order Requests Reviews — At the request of the City, URS will review Contract Change <br />Order requests from the Contractor. Reviews shall be completed within two (2) working days of <br />receipt. <br />5.6 Construction Coordination - URS shall coordinate plan check, design topics, permits and other issues <br />with the City, other Agencies, and utility companies as required. At the direction of the City, URS <br />shall be the liaison with the affected agencies. <br />5.7 As -Built Drawings — Upon completion of construction, URS will incorporate all changes to the plans <br />electronically using the Contractor's and City Inspector's red lines. URS will utilize the standard <br />industry revision notations. One (1) signed set of as -built mylars will be submitted to the City with <br />electronic copies in Microstation V8i CADD and pdf formats. URS shall deliver the signed electronic <br />files on CD and one color PDF file of the entire construction plan set on CD to the City. <br />The Fee Proposal is submitted in a separately sealed envelope, as required in the RFP. <br />25F3760 <br />
