by Seventeenth Street, and on the west by Main Street; the French Court Neighborhood <br />bounded on the north by Seventeenth Street, on the east by Penn Way, on the south by <br />Washington Avenue and on the west by Main Street; the French Park Neighborhood <br />bounded on the north by Washington Avenue, on the east by Poinsettia Street, on the <br />south by Civic Center Drive, and on the west by Main Street; and the new additional <br />neighborhood bounded on the north by Buffalo Avenue, by the east by Main Street, on <br />the south by 17th Street and on the west by Broadway, as more particularly depicted in <br />`Exhibit 1', attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference; provided said district <br />does not include any street on its outer boundary and said district does not include <br />Seventeenth Street and Washington Avenue and sections of any street abutting non- <br />residential uses within said district's boundary. <br />Section 3. Permit parking restrictions shall apply to all portions of the French <br />Court Neighborhood, unless excluded by section 2 of this Resolution. Permit parking <br />restrictions shall apply to those portions of the French Park Permit Parking District as <br />are determined to be in need of such restrictions by the Executive Director of the Public <br />Works Agency. The Executive Director of the Public Works Agency is authorized to <br />post appropriate signs giving notice of permit parking restrictions in those portions of the <br />District where permit parking restrictions apply. <br />Section 4. The parking restrictions imposed pursuant to said Article XI and this <br />resolution shall apply to any block within the French Court Permit Parking District only <br />after a petition signed by the owners of sixty -six percent (66 %) or more of the residential <br />lots abutting such block have filed a petition with the Executive Director of the Public <br />Works Agency expressing their desire for such parking restrictions, and after signs <br />indicating the parking restrictions on such block have been erected in accordance with <br />said Article XI. <br />Section 5 . No person shall park or stop any vehicle on any portion of any <br />street, at any time, within the French Court Permit Parking District as to which signs <br />have been erected indicating the application of permit parking restrictions and the <br />specific nature of the parking limitation, except persons and vehicles exempted from <br />such parking restrictions pursuant to said Article XI and this resolution. <br />Section 6. Persons entitled to a permit to park in locations subject to permit <br />parking restrictions pursuant to this resolution include and are limited to the following: <br />a. Any person who is licensed to drive a motor vehicle and who resides in a <br />single - family dwelling located on a lot in the District which does not have <br />more than one dwelling unit located on it, provided that not more than <br />three permits may be issued at any one time to the residents of any one <br />such dwelling unit. <br />b. Any person who is licensed to drive a motor vehicle and who resides in a <br />multiple - family dwelling located on any lot in the French Court Permit <br />Parking District which does not have more than four dwelling units located <br />Resolution No. 2014 -081 <br />Page 2 of 4 <br />
