Contract Award for Police Uniforms and <br />Equipment <br />January 20, 2015 <br />Page 2 <br />The Request for Proposal (RFP) was advertised on November 13, 2014, and offers were <br />solicited. A summary of the RFPs and offers received is as follows: <br />33 Vendors were notified <br />10 Vendors downloaded the proposal <br />1 Proposal received from a Santa Ana vendor <br />2 Proposals received <br />Proposals were received and opened on December 10, 2014. Proposals were evaluated based <br />on the specifications, technical expertise, company stability, customer service, pricing and <br />references provided. The offers provided from the recommended vendors received passing <br />scores that meet or exceeds the evaluation criteria.
