Response PH1 -21 —Sean Pulich <br />The Study Area is generally bounded by Harbor Boulevard to the west, 17" Street to the north, <br />Grand Avenue to the east, and 1" Street to the south. A connection from the SARTC to John <br />Wayne Airport is outside the scope of the project. Comments about future regional connections <br />in Orange County should be directed to regional transportation agencies, such as Metrolink and <br />the Airport. <br />Response PH 1-22 — Madeleine Spencer <br />See Response PH1 -1 regarding to public outreach and Response PH1 -2(1) regarding construction <br />along 4t' Street. <br />Response PH1 -23 — Madeleine Spencer <br />Section 3.10 -2.3 on page 3 -127 of the EA /DEIR discusses the potential impact of removing on- <br />street parking for Streetcar Alternatives 1 and 2. 5" Street, which is referenced by the <br />commenter, would have removed approximately seven of the existing 33 parking spaces. The <br />loss of parking in the Civic Center area would be minimal and absorbed into nearby parking <br />structures. No adverse effects are anticipated. <br />Response PH1 -24 — Madeleine Spencer <br />The Study Area is generally bounded by Harbor Boulevard to the west, 17`" Street to the north, <br />Grand Avenue to the east, and 1" Street to the south. Willowick is within the Study Area, <br />although the redevelopment of Willowick is outside the scope of the project. The streetcar <br />would operate within the PE ROW adjacent to Willowick Golf Course, but as stated on page <br />3 -65 of the EA /DEIR, no adverse effects would occur.
