Quarterly Report for HCV <br />December 2, 2014 <br />Page 4 <br />Re-certifications / Interims <br />Each year, the Housing Authority must re-certify <br />each participating family to ensure compliance <br />with program eligibility. In addition, when a <br />participant's income changes an interim <br />examination must be performed. During the <br />reporting period, a total of 763 recertifications/ <br />interims were conducted. Monthly totals since <br />September 2014 are shown in Chart 8. <br />Other Change of Unit <br />8. Re-exams & Interims <br />These actions are made when a family moves to a different rental unit. Nine other changes of unit <br />actions were processed during the reporting period. <br />New Admissions <br />This action is when a family is admitted to the Housing Program. Fifty one new admissions under <br />the Project-Based Voucher Program were processed during this reporting period. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />Approval of this item supports the City's efforts to meet Goal #5 - Community Health, Livability, <br />Engagement & Sustainability.
