7. Discuss the release of RFQ for Project -based Vouchers {Strategic Plan 5, 3) — <br />(CDA) <br />Natalie Verlinich, Housing Programs Analyst, provided handout on Request for <br />Qualifications (RFQ), Housing Authority, Project Based Vouchers. Housing <br />Authority will be soliciting applications from developers who are planning to <br />construct new rental housing within the City of Santa Ana, and who wish to secure <br />Project Based Vouchers for their project. RFQ issue date: Oct. 1, 2014 with a Feb. <br />2015 deadline. <br />8. RFQ for Economic Development Strategic Plan - (CDA) <br />Marc Morley, Economic Development Specialist, reviewed presentation for request <br />for qualifications on Economic Development Strategic Plan to look at options and <br />opportunities for investments in city. Oct. 31, 2014 will be the deadline for receipt of <br />proposals. <br />9.
