Santa Ana — Garden Grove Fixed Guideway Project <br />Findings and Facts in Support of Findings and Statement of Overriding Considerations <br />information with Downtown business and property owners about the SA -GG Fixed Guideway <br />Project, inform them about the upcoming release of the EA/DEIR, document questions and <br />input, and provide business owners with appropriate contact information for additional follow -up. <br />A "Sorry We Missed You" letter and information packet was also prepared and left behind for <br />business owners who were not available during the initial visit. The letter offered a briefing with <br />the outreach team to review the proposed project information packet. <br />Extensive efforts were conducted to involve the public and stakeholders in the planning for the <br />implementation of a streetcar along the alignment and through the Downtown area. Prior to the <br />release of the EA/DEIR, numerous meetings were held with stakeholders throughout the Study <br />Area to obtain input and provide updates on the SA -GG Fixed Guideway Project. Community <br />meetings were held with the Lacy Neighborhood, the French Park Neighborhood, the Santiago <br />Lofts Homeowners Association, the Santa Ana Senior Center, and many other stakeholders. <br />Stakeholder comments were collected and recorded at each meeting. In addition, a series of <br />Stakeholder Working Group meetings were held to involve key business people and leaders in <br />the community.
