(ACMS) to provide an Adult Crossing Program, in an amount not to <br />exceed $1,927,978 with an additional 15% contingency if needed, subject to non - substantive <br />changes approved by the City Manager and City Attorney. <br />DISCUSSION <br />In December 2014, the City issued Request for Proposals (RFP 14 -090) for Adult Crossing Guard <br />services to ensure the safe movement of elementary school children around school zones within <br />the City of Santa Ana. Currently, the Crossing Guard Program provides crossing guard services to <br />three school districts, which includes 35 schools, with a total of 49 crossing guards throughout the <br />City. <br />Two vendors responded to the RFP; All City Management Services and Securitas. An evaluation <br />committee consisting of representatives from PD Traffic and PD Administrative Services reviewed <br />and rated the two proposals. The proposals were evaluated according to Responsiveness to RFP <br />(20 %), Experience of Firm and Personnel (40 %) and Cost of Proposal (40 %), as stated in the RFP. <br />The results of the evaluation are as follows: <br />Vendor <br />Score <br />All City Management <br />Services <br />378 <br />Securitas <br />354 <br />400 points max <br />The Police Department proposes to enter into a three -year agreement with All City Management <br />Services.
