J. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals submitted and no representation <br />is made hereby that any contract will be awarded pursuant to this RFP or otherwise. The <br />City reserves the right to waive minor inconsistencies in submitted Proposals. <br />XX. CONTRACTOR SELECTION — PROPOSAL AND EVALUATION <br />The criteria for evaluating the proposals submitted will take the following items into consideration: <br />A. Qualifications of Entity and Key Personnel ................. ............................25% <br />Included ability to provide the requested scope of services, the Proposer's financial <br />capacity, recent experience conducting work of similar scope, complexity and magnitude <br />for other public agencies of similar size, references. <br />B. Approach to Providing the Requested Scope of Services .........................25% <br />Includes an understanding of the RFP and of the project's scope of services, knowledge <br />of applicable laws and regulations related to the scope of services. <br />C. Price Proposal ......................................................................... ............................30% <br />Price Proposals will be evaluated on the basis of the Grand Total Pruning Section <br />submitted in Exhibit F. <br />D. Information Management ........................................ ............................15% <br />1. Inventory software provided to the City <br />2. Technical support for software and data management <br />3. Quantity and types of inventory equipment <br />4. The ability to provide accurate inventory updates, for all trees serviced, <br />compatible with the City's tree inventory database <br />5. Geographic Information System (GIS) capabilities <br />E. Innovative and /or Creative Approaches .................... ............................... 5% <br />to providing the services that provide additional efficiencies or increased performance <br />capabilities <br />F. Oral Interviews <br />In addition to the written proposal, the top tier proposers may be asked to make an oral <br />presentation to the Selection Advisory Committee. <br />The Contractor should have available a principal in the company and the contractor's <br />proposed project manager to discuss the following: <br />1. The major elements of the proposal and be prepared to answer questions <br />clarifying the proposal details. <br />2. A description of similar experience the Contractor has in providing the requested <br />services. Exhibits may also be used. <br />3. The proposed staffing, supervision coverage, level of training, and fleet and <br />facility resources identified to provide the requested services. <br />4. Any other are the City finds necessary to address. <br />The proposals will be reviewed by a Selection Advisory Committee of City staff members. The <br />committee will evaluate proposers based on the response to the RFP and the City evaluation <br />criteria set forth above. A final score will be calculated for each submitted proposal and used to <br />rank the proposers. The committee may interview the top tier of proposers on Wednesday, May <br />13, 2015, and recommend award of the contract to the proposer who will provide the best quality <br />service at minimum cost to the City.
