2. The inventory shall be capable of showing the location of every existing <br />tree site and vacancies on the City's existing GIS base maps (streets, <br />parcels, addresses, ROW and hardscape, etc.). <br />3. The tree inventory shall be conducted by visiting each tree site or vacant <br />planting site and plot the position. The data shall be compatible with the <br />latest version of ArcView. The minimum accuracy shall be not more than <br />one (1) sub - meter. <br />4. The systems should be able to export a shapefile that includes all tree <br />attributes. Latitude /Longitude, Species, Height, DBH, Age or Date <br />Planted (if available), ID number (for linkage to maintenance records), <br />etc. <br />(3) Tree condition <br />General condition of individual trees <br />2. Condition of surrounding hardscape (Le, displaced or recent repairs or <br />any lift over three quarters (3/4 ") <br />IV. GENERAL MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENTS <br />All maintenance functions shall be performed in accordance with the following specifications. The <br />City shall have the right to determine schedule days and the extent and frequency of additional <br />..as needed" services. Standards and frequencies may be modified from time to time as deemed <br />necessary by the City for the proper maintenance of the listed trees. <br />All operations will be conducted so as to provide maximum safety for the public and minimize <br />disruption of the public use of City streets. <br />Hazardous evaluation of trees or palms at time of trimming and reported through work order <br />system. <br />While performing work of any type, the tree worker should inspect for any obvious hazards <br />related to trees, including uplifted sidewalk segments (lifted over three quarters (3/4 "), all <br />hazardous situations should be corrected or promptly reported to the City. Any structural defector <br />weakened tree shall be reported to the City's designated representative. This information will be <br />updated, at a minimum, on a weekly basis. <br />Remove leaves, weeds, trash, and other debris from landscaped areas and disposed of off -site. <br />Clean sidewalks, roadways, and any other areas littered or soiled by Contractor maintenance <br />operations. <br />Maintain the premises free of debris at all times. Upon completion of any work project, the <br />Contractor shall remove remaining excess materials, waste, rubbish, debris, and his /her <br />construction and installation equipment from the premises. Any dirt or stains caused by the work <br />shall be removed. Existing City trash containers shall not be used for the disposal of debris <br />collected by the Contractor. <br />Prune trees adjacent to roadway intersections to provide adequate sight distance for vehicles <br />entering the intersection. <br />Prune trees materials so that all traffic control signs are clearly visible to approaching drivers. <br />City of Santa Ana Street Tree Maintenance RFP <br />Page 23 <br />19E-26 <br />
