Last resort housing benefits will also be provided to cover situations <br />where displaces cannot be relocated due to the lack of available <br />comparable replacement housing, or when their anticipated <br />replacement housing payments would exceed the l_T of the stars I d - <br />relocation payments program. <br />3. 'Special need' displaced households will be identified in the final <br />relocation platy along with any extraordinary relocation assistance that ., <br />will be provided. <br />A detailed assessment of the number and type of dwelling units that would be <br />displaced by the project can be reviewed in the Draft Relocation Impact Study „ <br />at the City of Santa Ana, Public Works Agency. Following is a brief summary <br />of information contained in that document. <br />u <br />Consequences <br />Existing dwelling units would be demolished under the preferred widening <br />alternative. This would occur as a result of the acquisition of additional right- _ <br />of -way needed to accommodate the proposed 120 -foot street section. <br />Approximately 137 single - family and 26 multiple - family units would be .� <br />demolished. <br />The preferred alternative would not involve the replacement of destroyed <br />housing units. <br />Mitigation Measures <br />No mitigation measures are proposed. <br />A detailed assessment of the number and type of businesses that would be - <br />displaced by the project can be reviewed in the Draft Relocation Impact Study <br />at the City of Santa Ana, Public Works Agency. Following is a brief summary <br />of information contained in that document. <br />Consequences <br />City of Santa Ana right -of -way acquisition policies require the purchase of <br />entire parcels that will be rendered non- conforming due to a widened <br />roadway.
