Morgan, Planning Associate <br />Subject: EIR Proposed Bristol Street Widening, City $ante Ana <br />This letter is not to be intervreted as a contractual commitment <br />to serve the proposed project but only as an information service. Its <br />intent is to notify you that the Southern California Gas Company has <br />facilities in the area where the above -named project is proposed. Gas <br />service to the project could be served by ar existing main as srown or <br />the attached atlas sheet without any significant impact on the <br />environment. The service would be in accordance with thee Company's <br />policies and extension rules on file with the California Public <br />Utilities Commission at the time contractual arrangements are made. <br />The availability of natural gas service, as set forth in this letter, <br />is based upon present conditions of gas supply and regulatory <br />policies. As a public utility, the Southern California Gas Company is <br />under the jurisdiction of the California Public Utilities Commission. <br />We can also be affected by actions cf gas supply or the condition <br />under which service is available, gas service will be provided in <br />accordance with revised conditions. <br />stimates of gas usage for non- residential projects are developed on <br />an individual basis and are obtained from the Commercial- Industrial <br />Market Services Staff by calling (714) 534 -3173. <br />We have developed several programs which are available, upon request, <br />to provide assistance it selecting the most energy efficient <br />appliances or systems for a particular project.
