Agreement with Straight Talk Clinic, Inc for <br />Development of Permanent Housing for <br />Person with HIV /AIDS <br />April 7, 2015 <br />Page 2 <br />2014, HUD transferred the administration of the HOPWA program to the City of Anaheim when <br />their city population surpassed Santa Ana's population, These development funds were not <br />transferred to the City of Anaheim. City staff are interested in moving forward with one final <br />development project which would close the City's HOPWA program, <br />Following a Request for Proposals for a HOPWA development, Straight Talk Clinic, Inc, <br />submitted an application to purchase and rehabilitate a 2,921 square foot residential single family <br />home located at 18.77 West Ord Way in the City of Anaheim. Based on staff review and Straight <br />Talk's expertise and capacity to develop and manage a permanent housing environment for this <br />target population, it is recommended that Straight Talk be allocated $720;000 for this <br />development.
