ATTACHMENT <br />D. Implementation <br />15. Legislatively create the Economic Development Task Force, so as to allow it to be subject to <br />the Brown Act and thereby permitting the notification and participation of hard to reach <br />audiences and underserved communities in economic development planning and <br />implementation. <br />16. Allocate seats on the Economic Development Task Force for small businesses that <br />historically serve the Latino community, community- serving non - profit organizations, <br />representatives of organized labor, and representatives of resident led community groups. <br />The SABHC Equity for All Work Group will be formally invited to participate in the regular <br />meetings of the Economic Development Task Force that advises the preparation of the new <br />economic development strategy, including the Wellness District strategy. <br />17. Revisit economic development recommendations or decisions done prior to additional <br />appointments of the Economic Development Task Force. <br />18. Work with SABHC, SACReD and Wellness Corridor SC to establish a Health and Wellness <br />Committee as advisory to the City to oversee planning, Implementation, and evaluation. <br />Similar to the state's Health in All Policies task force, this committee will support in <br />performing Health Impact Assessments and developing indicators to consider for healthy <br />communities and inclusive collaborative processes. <br />19. Within three to six months, the head of each affected agency (list agencies) or department <br />of the City shall report back to the City Council and to the Finance and Economic <br />Development Committee regarding steps taken to implement the resolution, additional <br />steps planned, and any desired actions by the Council. <br />Section 2.
