PUBLIC HEARING - COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT <br />(CDBG) PROGRAM FISCAL YEAR 2015-2016 {STRATEGIC PLAN NO 2, <br />2; 2,4; 5,4; 5,6) — Community Development Agency <br />Community Redevelopment and Housing Commission directed staff to <br />transmit funding recommendations for fiscal year 2015-2016 CDBG public <br />service programs by a vote of 4:0 (Leon abstained) for the Public Law <br />Center, and 5:0 for all other nonprofit organizations on February 11, 2015. <br />Finance, Economic Development, and Technology Committee received a <br />presentation on the CDBG Fiscal Year 2015-2016 at a Special Meeting on <br />March 18, 2015. <br />Legal Notice published in the Orange County Register, in La Opinion <br />(Spanish) and the Nguoi Viet (Vietnamese) on March 24, 2015. <br />Continued from the April 7, 2015 City Council meeting by a 5-0 vote <br />(Benavides and Reyna abstained). <br />Mayor Pulido re -opened the Hearing to consider additional testimony. <br />The following spoke on the matter: <br />Lili Graham, Public Law Center, supports staff recommendation. <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 15 APRIL 21, 2015 <br />
