SPONSORSHIP OF NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION EVENTS {STRATEGIC <br />PLAN NO. 5, 4} - City Manager's Office <br /> <br />RECOMMENDED ACTIONS: Discuss and direct staff to develop a resolution, <br />implement policies, and amend appropriate ordinances to allow for one of the <br />following options. <br /> <br />1. Allocate annual funding for Neighborhood Associations to pay for city fees and <br />staff time for neighborhood events, up to $2,000 per event and administered by <br />the City Manager’s Office, for a total amount of $70,000. <br /> <br />2. Allocate annual funding of $10,000 to each Councilmember to nominate <br />neighborhood association and other approved entities for approval by vote of the <br />entire City Council, for a total amount of $70,000. <br /> <br />3.
