SERVICES <br />4.1 CONTRACTOR shall engage Participants for the number of hours as <br />referred by WTW Staff. <br />4.2 VTR is a temporary, transitional, and short -term activity, not to <br />exceed twelve (12) months, to prepare Participants for employment in a <br />specific trade, occupation, or vocation. VTR activities must be provided by <br />vocational - technical schools, postsecondary institutions, or proprietary <br />schools. VTR activities shall be made available to Participants in areas <br />identified as growth oriented, current or emerging occupations, meeting an <br />unmet community need, and in high demand for new employees. VTR activities <br />shall include, but not be limited to, the following: <br />4.2.1 Certified Nurse's Assistant; <br />4.2.2 Office Technology; <br />4.2.3 Child Care Provider; <br />4.2.4 Medical Liens Collections; <br />4.2.5 Health Care careers; <br />4.2.6 Hospitality; <br />4.2.7 Protective Services; and <br />4.2.8 Transportation. <br />4.3 WEX is a planned, structured learning experience that occurs in <br />the workplace for a limited period not to exceed twelve (12) weeks in length, <br />unless approved in advance by ADMINISTRATOR for a different period. The WEX <br />work site may include public or private, for - profit or nonprofit <br />organizations. WEX is a post- assessment activity designed to provide the <br />participant exposure to work environments. Under close supervision, WEX <br />activities provide basic job skills and enhance existing job skills and work <br />experience while meeting an identified community need. <br />4.4 CONTRACTOR shall be reimbursed by COUNTY for one hundred percent <br />I (WRR0415) <br />Page 5 of 25 <br />(April 7, 2015) <br />
