RESOLUTION 2015-027 <br />REVENUEFY 15-16 <br />ACCOUNTDEPARTMENT/MISCELLANEOUS FEE OR SERVICEUNITFEES <br />SECTION IXPLANNING & BUILDING AGENCY <br />of the permit fee, exclusive of the plan check and issuance <br />fee; except that no permit fees shall be refunded under any <br />of the following circumstances: <br />(1) 180 days has elapsed from the date of the issuance <br /> of the permit <br />(2) inspections have been performed by the Building Safety <br /> Division <br />If a permit has been issued for a project located in an area <br />outside of the jurisdiction of the City, 100% of the permit <br />and plan check fee may be refunded. If a permit has been <br />erroneously issued, 100% of the permit and plan check fee <br />may be refunded. <br />If a plan check fee has been paid and the plan is withdrawn <br />by the applicant prior to the plan check, refunds of plan <br />check fees may be made to the permittee in an amount equal <br />to 100% of the plan check fee in excess of $41.77 paid. <br />In no other case may any plan check fees be refunded. <br />Waiver of Fee <br />No permit or plan check fees required by this resolution will <br />be charged for public improvement projects performed by <br />construction contractors and subcontractors pursuant to contract <br />with the City of Santa Ana or the Community Redevelopment <br />Agency of the City of Santa Ana nor for any work performed by <br />employees of the City in the course of their employment. <br />However, this fee waiver does not exempt any party from <br />obtaining a permit for such work nor exempt such party from <br />conforming to the procedures established by the City nor from <br />compliance with all applicable City and State ordinances <br />regulating such work. <br />Note: The volume for Plan Check activity has been reduced to reflect the fact that <br /> contract services and overtime are used to complete a portion of activity. <br />a)Not all re-roofing activities require plan check. Material and current structure design <br />will be the deciding factor. <br />b) <br />This service will be charged an initial deposit and then charged by hourly rate. <br />c) These services were reallocated across fee areas as an overhead. <br />d) Up to 10 racks. Each additional rack will be charged at $10.75 each.$10.75 <br />e) <br /> Hourly rates will be charged after the minimum is met, if required. <br />f) This revenue is earmarked for the General Plan Update and is not included in new revenue figures. <br />All plan check services reflect an initial plus two rechecks. Additional reviews will be charged on an <br />hourly basis. Any unique plan check or inspection that does not match a service category will be <br />charged on an hourly basis. <br />38 <br /> <br />
