_.0NUNENT TO CONTRACT BETWEEN THE <br />BOARD OF ADMINISTRATION <br />PUBLIC INPLOYEES1 RETIREMENT SYSTEM AND THE <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />OF <br />THE <br />CITY SANTA ANA <br />The Board of Administration, Public Employeesa Retirement Systeme hereinafter <br />referred to as Board, and the CITY COUNCIL of the CITY OF SANTA ANAs hereinafter re. <br />(erred to as Public Agency having entered into a contract under date of November 25, <br />1946, effective July l,, 1917„ and as amended effective October 1, 19510 January 1,, <br />1951, September 1, 19560 July le 1959 November 1$ 1960s September I* 1963s April is <br />1964, February 1' 1965, and January 1g, 19619$ which provides for participation of <br />Public Agency in said System# Board and Publics Agency hereby agree as fsallowss <br />A. The follmwing subparagraphs shall be added to said 'Contracts <br />S (n) section 21251,75 of the Government Code (providing for increases in <br />allowances payable for time commencing on the ,first day of the calendar <br />month coinciding with cr next following the efteoti a date of this <br />amendment to persons retired prior to January 1$ 1967). <br />B, Paragraphs 9 (a) and 9 (b) shall be stricken from said Contract and the follow. <br />ing paragraphs substituted therefors <br />7 (a) With respect to miscellaneous members, the public agency shall contribute <br />the following percentages of monthly salaries earned as miscellaneous <br />members of said System, <br />(1) 2.074 percent until June 30, 1977 on account of the liability for <br />prior service benefits. <br />(2) 6.690 percent on account of the liability for current service <br />benefits, <br />7 (b) ,With respect to local safety members, the public agency shall contribute <br />the following percentages of monthly salaries earned as local safety <br />members of said Systema <br />(1) 1.830 percent until June 30, 1977 on account of the liability for <br />Prior service benefits. <br />(2) 4,654 percent on account of the liability .for current service <br />benefits. <br />C.
