ANMMD-' E1%TT TO CON"IM CT BET1 —N TH4 <br />BOARD OF ADiINISTR!',TION <br />PUBLIC 3fTi LO EES' R.FlIR�T tvdT SYSTEM ANT THY, <br />CITY" COUiJCI <br />OF T <br />CITY OF SA=?TA ANA <br />The Board of Adrn istration, Public hmployees@ Retirement System, hereinafter <br />referred to as Board, and the CITY CO :CIL of the CITY OF SAIuTA ANA, hereinafter re- <br />ferred to as Public P_gency, having entered into a contract under date of Nove=nber 25, <br />19461 effective July!, 1947, and as amended effective October!, 1951, January 1, <br />1954, September 1, 1956, July 1, 1979, November 1, 1960$ September 1, 1963, April 1, <br />1964, February 1, 1965, and January 16, 1969, which provides for participation of <br />Public Agency in said System. Board and Public Agency hereby agree as follows: <br />A. The following subparagraphs shall be added to said Contract: <br />8 (n) Section 21251.75 of the Govern,-,ent Code (providing for increases in <br />allo:aarces payable for time com encing on the first day of the calendar <br />month coinciding Hath or next follo,,ring the effective date of this <br />amendment to persons retired prior to January 1, 1967)8 <br />B. Paragraphs 9 (a) and 9 (b) shall be stricken from said Contract and the follow- <br />ing paragraphs substituted therefor: <br />7 (a) .with respect to miscellaneous members, the public agency shall contribute <br />the fol'lo7wing percentages of monthly salaries earned as miscellaneous <br />members of said System: <br />(1) 2.074 percent until June 30, 1977 on account of the liability for <br />prior service benefits. <br />(2) 6.690 percent on account of the liability for current service <br />benefits. <br />7 (b) -Kith respect to local safety members, the public agency shall contribute <br />the following percentages of monthly salaries earned as local safety <br />members of said System: <br />(1) 1.830 percent until June 30, 1977 on account of the liability for <br />prior service benefits. <br />(2) 9.650 percent on account of the liability for current service <br />benefits. <br />C.
