ARTICLE V <br />5.0 SALARIES <br />5.1 Basic Compensation Plan. There is hereby established a basic compensation plan for all <br />full -time personnel who are now employed or will in the fixture be employed in any of the <br />designated classifications of employment represented by SAMA as listed in this <br />MOUMOU and its attachments. <br />5.2 Schedule of Salaries. <br />A. Two separate schedules of salary rate ranges, one for classifications of employment <br />designated as SAMA Middle Management (MM) assigned to 17 -step monthly <br />salary rate ranges, and one for classifications of employment designated as SAMA <br />Administrative Management (AM) assigned to 5 -step monthly salary rate ranges, <br />are attached hereto in matrix format as though set forth herein. The basic salary schedule for SAMA Middle Management classifications contains <br />numerous salary rate ranges, each range comprised of seventeen (17) separate rates <br />of pay shown in mond-Ay amounts. The respective rate ranges are identified by a <br />two -digit number preceded by the capital letters "MM." The separate rates of pay <br />or steps within each salary rate range are identified by the numbers "I" through <br />"17" inclusive, with Step "1" being the lowest or minimum rate of the range, Step <br />"9" the middle or midpoint rate of the range, and Step "17" being the highest or <br />maximum rate.
