B. Previously authorized teams to be reconvened as needed: <br />1. Career Ladder /Job Family (for the purpose of developing career ladder /job <br />family series to be used in promotions or in the event of layoffs. <br />23.6 Performance Appraisals. Non - probationary performance appraisals not completed within <br />six (6) months of the due date shall be stayed and the employee shalt next become subject <br />to evaluation upon the end of the evaluation period, next following, provided that merit <br />advance performance appraisals shall be completed in accordance with Article IV, <br />section 4.8. <br />23.7 Request for Classification Review. Any employee who, for a continuous period <br />exceeding one (1) year, believes he or she is regularly and consistently performing dirties <br />and/or responsibilities not in conformance with their classification concept, or duties <br />and /or responsibilities of another classification, may request a classification review of <br />their position through their supervisor to the Executive Director. The employee must <br />submit their request on a form specified by the Executive Director of Personnel Services, <br />outlining in writing how they believe their current duties and /or responsibilities differ <br />from their classification concept. <br />A. The Executive Director will review the employee's submitted, request and within <br />sixty (60) days will make one of the following determinations: <br />1. Will support the employee's request. <br />a. If the Executive Director supports the employee's request for a <br />classification review, he or she shall forward the request to the <br />Executive Director of Personnel Services along with justification <br />for support of the employee's request. <br />b. The Executive Director shall notify the employee that his or her <br />request has been submitted to the Executive Director of Personnel <br />Services, <br />2. Will not support the employee's request, <br />a. If the Executive Director does not support the employee's request <br />for a classification review, he or she shall notify the employee of <br />this decision in writing and set forth the basis for the decision. <br />b. If the Executive Director does not support the employee's request, <br />but agrees that some of the duties and/or responsibilities being <br />performed by the employee are those of a higher level City <br />classification, he or she can do the following: <br />Return the employee to performance of the duties and /or <br />responsibilities of their proper classification. <br />50 <br />25J -52 <br />
