REQUEST FOR <br />COUNCIL ACTION <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING DATE: <br />AUGUST 4, 2015 <br />TITLE: <br />AGREEMENTS FOR ON -CALL <br />ENGINEERING SERVICES <br />(NON - GENERAL FUND) <br />(STRATEGIC PLAN NO. 6,1G) <br />CITY MANAGER <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION <br />CLERK OF COUNCIL USE ONLY: <br />APPROVED <br />❑ As Recommended <br />❑ As Amended <br />❑ Ordinance on 1" Reading <br />❑ Ordinance on 2n° Reeding <br />❑ Implementing Resolution <br />❑ Set Public Hearing For <br />CONTINUED TO <br />FILE NUMBER <br />Authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the Council to execute ten on -call engineering services <br />agreements with the firms listed below, subject to non - substantive changes approved by the City <br />Manager and City Attorney, each for two -year terms expiring August 4, 2017, with provisions for up to <br />two, one -year renewal options exercisable by the City Manager and City Attorney, for a total not -to- <br />exceed amount of $250,000 for each firm over the entire life of the agreement, including any renewal <br />period: <br />• Harris & Associates <br />• Psomas <br />• Willdan <br />• AECOM <br />• Michael Baker (RBF) <br />The total aggregate for all ten agreements <br />agreements and is anticipated to be utilized <br />Program budgets. <br />• Kimley -Horn <br />• Stantec Consulting Services <br />• Mark Thomas & Company <br />• VA Consulting <br />KPFF <br />shall not exceed $2,500,000 over the length of the <br />based on the City's approved Capital Improvement <br />Staff solicited proposals for on -call engineering services to support City staff in the delivery of <br />time - sensitive Capital Improvement Program projects.
