2015 Orange County Children's Therapeutic Arts Center <br />Youth Employment Program - WIOA Proposal <br />b. Accounting Clerk- Veronica Maldonado has been working at OCCTAC for four years. Prior <br />to working at OCCTAC, she worked at Digital Spectrum Solutions for 9 years as an <br />accounting clerk and 3 years at Towne Inc. Her 12 years of experience in Accounting <br />include: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and $12.OM Accounts reconciliations, <br />Mass Merchant experience: price protection, marketing and co-op program monies, RTV <br />deduction, research analysis & problem solving payment data issues, MAS90, EDI, and <br />QuickBooks accounting software experience. Time allocation for this program is 23%- see <br />budget narrative. <br />c. WIOA-Case Manager— Lizeth Lopez holds a Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology and Social <br />Behavior with a minor in Education from the University of California, Irvine. In the past 7 <br />years she has been able to work in her perspective field in assisting youth between the <br />ages of 12 to 24 achieve their goals by being part of several nonprofits and city programs <br />throughout LA and Orange County. Time allocation for this program is 100%- see budget <br />narrative. <br />W/OA—Case Manager Assistant — Ana Mendez is a graduate of the University of <br />California, Irvine where she earned a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology & Social Behavior <br />and a Bachelors of Arts in Social Ecology. She is a member of the Development, Disorder, <br />and Delinquency Lab at the University of California, Irvine under the mentorship of Dr. <br />Elizabeth Kauffman. She was awarded the UROP Fellowship award as well as the <br />Excellence in Research Award for her research on first time male juvenile offenders as well <br />as being awarded the Dean's Award for Excellence in Field Studies. Time allocation for this <br />program is 91%- see budget narrative. <br />e. Career Counselor— Feliza Martinez is a graduate from the University of California Irvine <br />who majored in Psychology and Social Behavior, with a minor in Educational Studies. <br />While at UC Irvine, Feliza was a Mentor to the transfer students under the School of Social <br />Ecology, a Student Coordinator at Saddleback High School, and a Co -Chair for "Hermanas <br />Unidas" de UC Irvine. She is currently a Graduate Student at Cal State Long Beach working <br />to attain her Master's degree in School Counseling. Time allocation for this program is <br />79%- see budget narrative. <br />Arts/Technology Mentor- Sean O'Neill is the graphic design instructor for the WIA <br />program at OCCTAC. Sean started out as a volunteer for OCCTAC in 2004 and shortly after <br />that began teaching illustration, graphic design, and cartooning classes to at -risk youth. <br />Sean has worked for various medium to large corporations and agencies as a graphic <br />designer and web designer. Sean is currently obtained his Master's Degree in Counseling <br />from Cal State University, Long Beach. Time allocation for this program is 26 %- see <br />budget narrative. <br />g. The Literacy/Math Tutor/Coach —The literacy/math tutor will provide one-on-one <br />tutoring sessions in the area of Literacy and/or Math. The main role of the tutor will be to <br />facilitate learning through effective guidance and coaching in order to aid the student in <br />EXHIBIT A <br />
