Application Review Information and Selection Process <br />A. Application Review Information <br />FY 2014 HSGP applications will be evaluated through a review process for <br />completeness, adherence to programmatic guidelines, and anticipated effectiveness of the <br />proposed Investments. The results from the review process may require applicants to <br />revise submissions before the release of HSGP funding. <br />SHSP and UASI <br />FEMA will verify compliance with all administrative mid eligibility criteria identified <br />in the application kit, to include the required submission of risk driven, capabilities - <br />based Its by the established due dates and verification of aligmnent to Urban Area, <br />State, and regional TH'IRAs; SPRs; and national priorities. State and Urban Area <br />Homeland Security Strategies will also be examined for further context regarding <br />current capability levels and how IJs address potential gaps to prevent, protect, <br />mitigate, respond to, and recover from acts of terrorism and other disasters.
