(jxs 07.14 -15) <br />Way; thence Westerly in a direct line to the intersection of the Northerly <br />prolongation of the West line of Shelton Street and the Westerly <br />prolongation of the North line of Sixth Street; thence Southerly in a direct line <br />to the Southwest corner of Santa Ana Boulevard and Shelton Street; thence <br />Easterly in a direct line to the Southwest corner of Flower and Santa Ana <br />Boulevard; thence Southerly a direct line to the Northwest corner of Third <br />Street and Flower Street; thence Westerly in a direct line to the intersection <br />of the Northerly prolongation of the West line of Olive Street and the <br />Westerly prolongation of the North line of Third Street; thence Southerly in a <br />direct line to the intersection of the South line of First Street and the <br />Southerly prolongation of the West line of Olive Street; thence Easterly in a <br />direct line to the intersection of the South line of First Street and the <br />Southerly prolongation of the East line of Spurgeon Street, the point of the <br />beginning. <br />(d) Fees. The parking fees for parking in the parking meter zones as <br />hereinabove described shall be as follows: <br />(1) Willard Zone. The fee charged for parking in any metered parking space <br />within the Willard Zone shall be five cents ($0.05) for each three (3) minutes <br />or one dollar ($1.00) per hour. <br />(2) Midtown Zone. The fee charged for parking in any metered parking space <br />within the Midtown Zone shall be five cents ($0.05) for each three (3) <br />minutes or one dollar ($1.00) per hour. <br />(3) Downtown Zone. The fee charged for parking in any metered parking space <br />within the Downtown Zone shall be five cents ($0.05) for each two minutes <br />or one dollar fifty cents ($1.50) per hour. one dollar and fifty cents ($1.50) <br />per hour or fraction thereof. <br />SECTION 4. Section 36 -399 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code is hereby added <br />such that it reads as follows: <br />Sec. 36 -399. - Hours. <br />(a) Except as otherwise provided in subsection (b) of this section, the provisions <br />of this article relating to the operation of parking meters shall be effective <br />only between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m, on Monday, Tuesday, <br />Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday of each week, except such <br />parking limitations shall not be operative on any legal holiday.
