Francisco Gutierrez <br />Executive Director- Finance and Management Services <br />Al <br />FY 15 -16 PWA DEFERRED MAINTENANCE PRIORITIZATION <br />General Criteria for Deferred Maintenance consideration: <br />Safety <br />Liability <br />Functionality, <br />• Priority 1: Facilities that have failing systems in which <br />replacements are imperative (i.e., roof restoration, chiller <br />replacements, ADA upgrades) <br />Priority 2: Facility systems are functional but require additional <br />maintenance to keep the facility operational (i.e., HVAC system <br />repairs, rebuilding Air handlers) <br />Priority 3: Facility systems are better than average condition, only <br />normal on -going maintenance required or the continuation of <br />existing projects (i.e., general repairs, phased out projects) <br />FY 15 -16 DEFERRED MAINTENANCE PRIORITIES <br />Priority 1- Safety / Liability/ Function <br />a) Corporate Yard: Roof Restoration of PWA <br />Administration and Stores- $500K <br />b) Grand Central: Chiller Replacement- $450K <br />c) Train Station: $650k <br />• Air Handler Replacement Phase I <br />• Public restroom ADA upgrade <br />d) Vehicle Wash Facility- $150K <br />Recycles only 5% of the used water <br />• New system has the capacity to recycle up to 70% of <br />the water <br />48 <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 22 AUGUST 18, 2015 <br />1 OA -66 <br />
