<br />Firm History
<br />MDG Associates Inc, and its affiliate Lml Associates, Inc,, were established in 1987 arid have
<br />undergone a steady growth since its inception. MDG is a corporadon registered in the State of
<br />California, MDG is a registered MBE and 1>1i73. \QDG Associates, Inc, is comprised ofindividuals with a
<br />hide variety of expertise including the set -vices specifically requested by the City. Currently, M'DG has 32
<br />staff members, Eight (8) of the staff inembets are knowledgeabic and experienced in tine development of
<br />Consolidated Plan documents such as the Five-Yeat Consolidated Plan, Annual, Action Plan and
<br />Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation. Report (CAPER).
<br />As CDBG, HOME and ESG program management consultants, MDG provides assistance with the
<br />day -to -clay administration of the progtatns, including tine preparation of Five -Year Consolidated Plans,
<br />One -Year Action Plans and CAPERS as well as the monitoring of capital, improvement projects for
<br />compliance with the Davie -Bacon Act requirements, admiiisteting sub-tecipieint contracts, anti
<br />coorcUnation with, the City's assigned -HUD representative.
<br />MDG staff maintains aii excellent relationship with the.local HUD office as well as at the headquarters
<br />level (Washington D.C,), Staff is currently providing technical assistance to grantees throughout the
<br />country on behalf of HUD Headquarters through the OneCPD Program, This technical assistance is
<br />provided to states, counties, cities and other HUD funded gtatitees in conjunction with die CDB( -,,HOME, ESG, and NSP ptograms as well as the respective reporting programs such as Integrated
<br />Disbursement Infortuatlon System (IDIS) and Disaster Recovery Grant Reporting (DRGR) programs,

<br />programs; providing cn-site uainiug to the staff diet is responsible for die monitoring of the programs; and
<br />training on the use of the HUD required reporting program Disaster. Recovety Granit Reporting (I)RGIR).
<br />The Policy and Procedure Guidelincs and training materials have been developed in bode English and in
<br />Spanish with the actual training being conducted in Spanish.
<br />In addition, MDG staff members have been worldngwith HUD Headquarters as trainers and heti testers
<br />to recent updates of their IDIS and DRGR repotting systems (including the new IDIS system, eCon
<br />Plana ng Suite, and DRGR systems) that was released during the 2012 Program Year. 'Two (2) of out staff
<br />members are trainers for HUD on die use of the eCon Planning Suite and CPD Maps,
<br />Related Experience
<br />Currently, MDG along with its affiliate (LDM Associates, Inc) provides Cl:)BG, I-IOME, ESG, NSP and
<br />Call -TOME adninisttation assistance to 16 cities wide funds totalingapproximately $27.2 nillion. Pormost:
<br />of these cities, our scope of services is to perfonn the overall administtatioii and implementation of these
<br />ptograms including the preparation of Five -Year Consolidated Plans, Action Plans,. CAPERs, contract
<br />management, financial management, monitoring, Davis -Ireton Compliance, inputting performance: and
<br />financial data into IDIS and DRGR, and other program requirements.
<br />We are currently under contract with the Cities of Claremont, Compton, Corona, Fontana, Hawthorne,
<br />I lespetia, Irvine, Lawndale, Newpott Beach, Palmdale, Paramount, Rancho Palos Verdes, Rialto, Redlands,
<br />Upland, and Walnut to administer or assist hn the administration of their CDBG, HOME and/or ESG
