R. SCHEDULES <br />The City operates on a four (4) year prune cycle trimming approximately 55,000 trees. <br />The City annually prunes approximately '15,000 trees and approximately 5,000 palms by <br />grid prune. <br />(1) Annual Schedule <br />Upon contract award, the successful Proposer shall be required to submit a work <br />schedule based on the City's annual pruning requirements, removal and <br />placement program, and planting projects. The proposal shall Include a <br />recommended annual work program, dally work schedules, personnel and <br />vehicles that would be required to complete the annual maintenance program. <br />Depending on the City's current and future needs, the scheduled work may <br />require multiple crews to perform concurrently within the same time constraints. <br />a, The Contractor shall provide an annual maintenance schedule <br />Indicating the time frames when items of work shall be <br />accomplished per the performance requirements. <br />b. The Contractor shall submit revised schedules when actual <br />performance differs substantially from, planned performance. <br />(2) Monthly Schedule <br />Contractor shall meet with the City once a month to discuss work <br />performance, special instructions, any problems encountered and upcoming <br />schedules. <br />2. Changes to the schedule shall be received by the Projects Manager or <br />designee at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the scheduled time for the <br />work. <br />3. Failure to notify of a change and/or failure to perform an item of work on a <br />scheduled day may, at the City's sole discretion, result in deduction of <br />payment for that date, week or month. <br />(3) Daily Sc educe <br />The Contractor shall meet with the City's representative daily for the purpose of <br />reviewing the week's work, receiving special instructions, and to discuss any <br />problems encountered on the job. Changes to daily schedule can be made <br />verbally or by email to the Projects Manager or designee, <br />(4) Performance on Schedule <br />The Contractor has been provided the maximum latitude in establishing work <br />schedules which correspond to its manpower and equipment resources. The <br />Contractor has also been provided the opportunity and procedure for adjusting <br />those schedules to meet special circumstances, Therefore, all work shall be <br />completed on the day scheduled, as shown on the weekly schedule, <br />S.
