The bid amount of $2,504,490 is comparable to the Engineer's Estimate of $2,300,000 <br />and is incorporated into the Construction Contract (Exhibit 2). Based on the bids received, staff <br />recommends award of this contract to Vido Artukovich & Son, Inc. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />Approval of this item supports the City's efforts to meet Goal #6 Community Facilities & Infrastructure, <br />Objective #1 (establish and maintain a Community Investment Plan for all City assets), Strategy C (invest <br />resources to extend the service life of existing infrastructure to protect the City's investment and support a <br />high quality of life standard). <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />In accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act, the recommended actions are exempt from <br />further review. Categorical Exemption Environmental Review No. ER #2015 -8 will be filed for this project. <br />In addition, a Certification of Categorical Exemption and Statutory Worksheet have been prepared in <br />accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />The estimated total delivery cost of this project is $3,255,800, which includes construction, contract <br />administration, inspection, testing, surveying, and contingencies (Exhibit 3).
