Michael Baker 84 $68,700 $99,500 <br />Based on the quality and value of the services proposed, staff recommends that Albert Grover & <br />Associates be retained to conduct an engineering and traffic survey for speed limit updates and <br />follow -up speed studies, as needed. This firm has demonstrated they have the experience and <br />resources needed to provide the required services. <br />The base and extended services by Albert Grover & Associates are estimated to cost $70,920. <br />Staff also recommends adding a contingency to the base services of $4,892 (approximately 10 %) <br />to cover related unforeseen work for the base traffic speed survey, resulting in a total not -to- <br />exceed contract of $75,812. Breakdown is as follows: $48,920 for engineering and traffic survey <br />work, $4,892 as contingency and $22,000 for follow up services. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />There is no environmental impact associated with this action. Individual environmental reviews <br />will be conducted for each recommended improvement at the time of implementation.
