OCCTAC's proposed project to bring a series of three films for screening to Santa Ana <br />is a unique venture with potential to expose diverse segments of Santa Ana's population as a <br />means of educating the community about the value of classical music education and the role that <br />music plays in contemporary cultural identity. <br />The proposed project will make the Santa Ana population better aware of opportunities to learn <br />to play an instrument. It will also show this community that musical performances of all kinds - <br />classical and contemporary - are accessible to them for their appreciation and enjoyment. <br />As a partner in the proposed project, Chamber Music OC is committed to assisting with the event <br />promotion and execution. Chamber Music OC is also happy to provide a brief performance and <br />introduction to the screening of `Bl Sistema" as a means of setting the tone for the audience to <br />view the film. <br />Chamber Music OC expresses full support for Orange County Children's Therapeutic Arts <br />Center.
