!ca a2 3, i' <br />or QF�nNCaF G', <br />REL: 7/26/95 <br />GITY PUF1LIQ�yQ( {itS <br />Q%&TH AMENDMENT TO THE JOINT EXERCISE <br />OF POWERS AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA AND THE CITY OF ORANGE <br />CREATING THE TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM <br />IMPROVEMENT AUTHORITY <br />THIS AMENDMENT, made and entered into this day of <br />1995, by and between the CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />(hereinafter referred to as "Santa Ana") and the CITY OF ORANGE <br />(hereinafter referred to as "Orange1°), municipal corporations of <br />the State of California. <br />A. Santa Ana and Orange have entered into that certain <br />"Joint Powers Agreement between the City of Santa Ana and the City <br />of Orange creating the Transportation System Improvement <br />Authority," dated December 18, 1984, to provide for a joint powers <br />agency through which the cities may jointly plan and fund <br />transportation system improvements in the area of their common <br />border, which agreement has since been amended by amendments dated <br />May 20, 1985, July 2, 1991, and December 1, 1991 (which agreement <br />as thus amended is hereinafter referred to as the "Joint Powers <br />Agreement "). <br />B. The parties do now desire to further amend the Joint <br />Powers Agreement in certain particulars pertaining to the times and <br />dates of meetings. <br />WHEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing, the parties <br />hereto do hereby agree that subdivision (1) of subsection C of <br />Section 2 of the Joint Powers Agreement is amended to read as <br />it <br />
