CITY OF SANTA ANA AND THE CITY OF <br />- ORANGE CREATING THE TRANSPORTATION <br />Ce C Gig SYSTEM IMPROVEMENT AUTHORITY <br />)'V <br />THIS AMENDMENT, made and entered into this �— day of <br />1991 ! , by and between the CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />( heVeinafter referred to as "Santa Ana ") and the CITY OF ORANGE <br />(hereinafter referred to as "Orange "), municipal corporations of <br />the State of California. <br />WITNESSETH <br />Recitals: <br />A. Santa Ana and Orange have entered into that certain "joint <br />Exercise of Powers Agreement between the City of Santa Ana and the <br />City of Orange creating the Transportation System Improvement <br />Authority," dated December 18, 1984, to provide for a joint powers <br />agency through which the cities may jointly plan and fund <br />transportation system improvements in the area of their common <br />border (hereinafter referred to as the "Joint Powers Agreement "). <br />B. The Joint Powers Agreement was amended in certain <br />particulars 'pertaining to designation of the "host city," the <br />selection of Chairman and Vice - Chairman, designation of the <br />Treasurer, and the establishment of the time of regular meetings <br />by an amendment dated May 28, 1985 (hereinafter referred to as the <br />"First Amendment "). <br />C. . The parties do now desire to further amend the Joint <br />Powers Agreement in certain particulars pertaining to the <br />1 <br />
