,� -FrS S3 <br />REL : adg <br />2/1/85. <br />AMENDMENT TO THE JOINT EXERCISE OF <br />POWERS AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA AND THE CITY OF ORANGE <br />CREATING THE TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM <br />IMPROVEMENT AUTHORITY <br />THIS AMENDMENT, made and entered into this 9,0 day <br />of , 1985, by and between the CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />(hereinafter referred to as "Santa Ana ") and the CITY OF ORANGE <br />(hereinafter referred to as "Orange "), municipal corporations <br />of the State of California. <br />W- T- T- N- E- S- S -E -T -H <br />Recitals: <br />A. Santa Ana and Orange have entered into that certain <br />"Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement between the City of Santa <br />Ana and the City of Orange creating the Transportation System <br />TmproVement Authority,` dated December 18, 1984, tc provide <br />for a joint powers agency through which the cities may jointly <br />plan and fund transportation system improvements in the area <br />of their common border ( hereinafter referred to as the "Joint <br />Powers Agreement "). <br />B. The parties do now desire to amend the Joint Powers <br />Agreement in certain particulars pertaining to designation of <br />the "host city," the selection of Chairman and Vice - Chairman, <br />designation of the Treasurer, and the establishment of the <br />time of regular meetings. <br />
