Chestnut Avenue <br />Santa Ana, California 92701 <br />MINUTES <br />Santa Ana Unified School District / City of Santa Ana Council <br />Joint Policy Meeting <br />May 4, 2015 <br />The meeting was called to order at 5:38 p.m. by Santa Ana Unified School <br />District (SAUSD) Board President Palacio. Other SAUSD Board member in attendance <br />was Ms. Iglesias, Vice President. <br />SAUSD staff members present were Dr. Miller, Superintendent of Schools; Dr. <br />Phillips, Deputy Superintendent, operations; Dr. Haglund, Deputy Superintendent, <br />Educational Services; and Dr. Lopez -Guerra, Director of Community Relations, <br />City Council members present were Roman Reyna, Angelica Amezcua, and Sal <br />Tinajero. <br />City staff present were David Cavazos, City Manager; Gerardo Mouet, PRCSA <br />Executive Director; Ron Ono, Administrative Services Manager.; Jeannie Jurado, <br />Community Services Manager; Francisco Orellana, Sr. Engineer; Nabil Saba, Water <br />Resources Manager Scott Kutner, District Manager Neighborhood Initiatives; Kelly <br />Reenders, CDA Executive Director; Vince Fregoso, Acting Planning Manager; Robert <br />Cortez, Special Assistant to the City Manager. <br />PUBLIC PRESENTATIONS <br />Jill Gottlieb, Helene Nepomuceno, Tony Viramontes, Alexandra. Smith, and Aimee <br />Dunkle addressed the committee members related to the Orange County Needle Exchange <br />Program. <br />1.0 Approval of minutes of January 26, 2Q15 District/City Minutes <br />Mr, Tinajero motioned, Mr. Reyna seconded to approve Minutes of January 26, <br />2015. <br />Change in Order. of Agenda <br />5.0 Santa Ana Winds Program - Instruments <br />Following discussions indicate the Santa Ana Winds no longer exists and <br />committee asked about the status of the instrument and uniform. storage. Mr. <br />Mouet, PRCSA Executive Director will look into Ground Lease Agreement and <br />report back. <br />
