Supplemental Question 1:: <br />I am looking to host the workshop series in others areas to cover all 6 wards of the city. <br />I continue to look for other opportunities <br />to collaborate with the city of Santa Ana and plan o reach out to the <br />Parks and Recs program in hopes to have our series at varying centers and the Santa <br />Ana Library. We want to make sure that we are accessibly to the community. There are <br />story- tellers everywhere! <br />Supplemental Question 2:: <br />This is a new pilot program that I look to replicate, refine and, of course, expand. The <br />first session of the three is truly the initiation of all. The first session will help me asses, <br />refine and strengthen the two sessions to follow. Overall, adjustments will be made to <br />best serve the project, its purpose and participants. <br />Supplemental Question 3:: <br />At the end of 10 week session each series will culminate in a public reading of the <br />writings generated by the participants. The process will be supported by professional <br />theatre artists. Readers will be a blend of professional, local and community actors and <br />directors. The first series' public reading is set to be presented for free and accessible to <br />the public on last weekend of August of 2015 at The Frida Cinema Theatre. <br />Supplemental Question 4:: <br />1. Participants leave program with an introductory playwriting and theatre making tools <br />taught by professional theatre makers and playwrights working in American Theatre <br />locally and nationally <br />2. Participants will see themselves as creative story- tellers / playwrights <br />3. Participants will have participated in constructive and devising discussions regarding <br />their work and others <br />4. Participants will have engaged and participated in collaborative rehearsal process to <br />prepare for their public reading <br />5. Participants will share their new work read aloud with their audience of families, <br />friends, supporters at a free public reading <br />6. Participants stories will be reflective of themselves and of their community <br />7. Participants will be exposed to the many intricate aspects of Santa Ana with the <br />series hosted at various Santa Ana organizations and locations associated with the <br />project <br />8. Participants will leave with an introspective understanding of story- telling, a <br />relationship to theatre and to community building <br />9. The desire for live theatre and theatre - making opportunities has a home in the Santa <br />Ana Community <br />10. This project and process reaffirms the support of programming for arts and culture in <br />the community and validates that Santa Ana is a community of thriving, emerging and <br />soon to be arts and artists <br />
