b. On November 3, 2015, The City Council approved a Memorandum of <br />Understanding with the Police Officer's Association which provided for <br />a 2.5% salary increase on July 1, 2015 and July 1, 2016; and <br />On November 17, 2015, The City Council approved a Memorandum of <br />Understanding with the Service Employees International Union which <br />provided for a 2.5% salary increase on July 1, 2015 and July 1, 2016. <br />It is the City's desire that unrepresented Executive Management (EM) <br />classifications shall continue to be subject to the same adjustments in <br />wages and benefits as are provided for represented Full -Time Employees <br />of the City of Santa Ana. It is the City's desire to: <br />Adjust the base salaries assigned to unrepresented Executive <br />Management classifications by the same percentage, on the same <br />dates and in the same manner as provided represented Santa Ana <br />Management Association (SAMA), Police Management Association <br />(PMA), Service Employees International Union, Local 721 (SEIU), <br />Police Officers Association (POA) and Confidential Association of <br />Santa Ana (CASA) employee classifications as shown below: <br />July 1, 2015: 2.5% <br />July 1, 2016: 2.5% <br />This base salary adjustment will also apply to any other employees <br />within the City with an Executive Management "me too" provision in <br />their employment contract, specifically, the City Clerk. <br />c. It is now desired to amend Council Resolution No. 2015 -026, as <br />amended, and the Annual Budget for fiscal Year 2015 -2016 as set <br />forth in Resolution No. 2015 -2878, as amended, in order to effect <br />these changes, as shown below: <br />Section 2: The Santa Ana City Council amends Resolution No. 2015 -026 <br />(Exhibit "1" to this Resolution), Exhibit A, Section 1, Paragraph B entitled Schedule of <br />Salaries, to adjust the salary rate ranges for classifications of employment designated <br />as unrepresented Executive Management (EM) as set forth below: <br />Classification Title 15 -Step Salary Rate Range (SRR) Effective 7/1/15 <br />FROM Monthly Salary TO Monthly Salary <br />SRR Min -Max SRR Min -Max <br />Assistant City Manager (EM) EM -39 ($11271 - $15925) EM -39 ($11553- $16324) <br />Chief Technology Innovations EM -35 ($10213 - $14427) EM -35 ($10469- $14788) <br />Officer (EM) <br />Resolution 2015 - <br />Page 2 of 4 <br />55C -4 <br />
