The largest source of municipal <br />emissions was energy consumption within <br />the buildings and facilities sector, which <br />accounted for 30% of all municipal emissions <br />(Figure 2.4 and Table 2.3). This 2008 baseline <br />includes street lights that are currently <br />operated by SCE, but will be acquired by the <br />City. <br />SCE provided electricity consumption data <br />in kilowatt -hours per year for 2008. SCG <br />provided natural gas consumption data in <br />therms per year for 2008.
