• Accumulation and distribution of sand and sandbags for residents, businesses and <br />City properties; <br />• Locate and warn homeless populations residing in flood control channel areas; <br />• Identification of supplies, equipment, vendors or contractors that may be required; <br />• Identify any potential flood spots in the City using flood maps and past instances <br />of flooding; <br />• Prepare traffic detours and equipment for roads or intersections identified as <br />potential flood areas; <br />• Identify key staff for flood response and update of contact information; and <br />• Formulation of a command structure, organization chart and activation triggers for <br />any emergency response. <br />Response and Recav®ry <br />City departments have and will continue to further develop specific measures and <br />procedures to respond to and resolve hazards once rainfall concerns occur. <br />City's primary response and recovery objectives include: <br />• Procedures to monitor and report weather forecasts; <br />• Procedures to monitor flood control and storm drain infrastructure; <br />• Pre - staging or callout of response staff and equipment; <br />• Evacuation and /or warning of homeless populations residing in flood control <br />channel areas; and <br />• Creation of an Incident Action Plan to set priorities and develop response actions. <br />For each objective, City Staff from one or more departments have been identified to take <br />responsibility for creating a plan or gathering the resources to meet that objective. <br />Several working group sessions have occurred and additional sessions will continue to <br />occur throughout the winter months to fulfill these objectives and address any additional <br />concerns that may arise. <br />EXHIBIT 1 <br />y 1 M <br />
