ON-CALL ENGINEERING SERVICES (NON-GENERAL FUND) {STRATEGIC <br />PLAN NO. 6, 1G} - Public Works Agency <br /> <br /> RECOMMENDED ACTIONS: <br /> <br /> <br />1.Authorize the Executive Director of Public Works to terminate the agreement <br />with VA Consulting, Inc., for on-call engineering services in an amount not to <br />exceed $250,000. <br /> <br /> <br />2.AGMT - Authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the Council to execute an <br />agreement with Rick Engineering for a two-year term beginning February 3, <br />2016, and expiring February 2, 2018, with provisions for up to two one-year <br />renewal options exercisable by the City Manager and City Attorney, for a total <br />not to exceed $250,000 over the life of the agreement, including any renewal <br />periods, subject to non-substantive changes approved by the City Manager and <br />City Attorney. <br /> <br /> <br />25D. AGMT - AMENDMENT WITH U.S. IMMIGRATION AND CUSTOMS <br />ENFORCEMENT (ICE) TO PROVIDE HOUSING FOR FEDERAL INMATES <br />{STRATEGIC PLAN NO. 1, 4A} - Police Department <br /> <br /> RECOMMENDED ACTION: Authorize the City Manager and the Clerk of the <br />Council to execute a five-year amendment beginning on February 2, 2016, and <br />terminating June 30, 2020, with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) <br />for jail housing services to include a 128 bed guarantee, and increase the maximum <br />number of ICE detainees from 200 to 300, subject to non-substantive changes <br />approved by the City Manager and City Attorney. <br />CITY COUNCIL AGENDA 8 FEBRUARY 2, 2016 <br /> <br /> <br />
