AGMT - COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT AND INCLUSIONARY <br />HOUSING FUNDS LOAN AGREEMENT TO CREATE 57 UNITS OF <br />AFFORDABLE HOUSING AT 1666 N. MAIN STREET – SANTA ANA ARTS <br />COLLECTIVE, LP {STRATEGIC PLAN NO. 5, 3A, 3C} - Community Development <br />Agency <br /> <br /> RECOMMENDED ACTION: Authorize the City Manager and the Clerk of the <br />Council to execute a single loan agreement with Santa Ana Arts Collective, LP for <br />$500,000 in Community Development Block Grant funds and $1,875,000 in <br />Inclusionary Housing Funds for a total combined amount not to exceed $2,375,000; <br />subject to non-substantive changes approved by the City Manager and City <br />Attorney. <br /> <br /> <br />25C. ON-CALL ENGINEERING SERVICES (NON-GENERAL FUND) {STRATEGIC <br />PLAN NO. 6, 1G} - Public Works Agency <br /> <br /> RECOMMENDED ACTIONS: <br /> <br /> <br />1.Authorize the Executive Director of Public Works to terminate the agreement <br />with VA Consulting, Inc., for on-call engineering services in an amount not to <br />exceed $250,000. <br /> <br /> <br />2.AGMT - Authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the Council to execute an <br />agreement with Rick Engineering for a two-year term beginning February 3, <br />2016, and expiring February 2, 2018, with provisions for up to two one-year <br />renewal options exercisable by the City Manager and City Attorney, for a total <br />not to exceed $250,000 over the life of the agreement, including any renewal <br />periods, subject to non-substantive changes approved by the City Manager and <br />City Attorney. <br /> <br /> <br />25D. AGMT - AMENDMENT WITH U.S. IMMIGRATION AND CUSTOMS <br />ENFORCEMENT (ICE) TO PROVIDE HOUSING FOR FEDERAL INMATES <br />{STRATEGIC PLAN NO. 1, 4A} - Police Department <br /> <br /> RECOMMENDED ACTION: Authorize the City Manager and the Clerk of the <br />Council to execute a five-year amendment beginning on February 2, 2016, and <br />terminating June 30, 2020, with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) <br />for jail housing services to include a 128 bed guarantee, and increase the maximum <br />number of ICE detainees from 200 to 300, subject to non-substantive changes <br />approved by the City Manager and City Attorney. <br />CITY COUNCIL AGENDA 8 FEBRUARY 2, 2016 <br /> <br /> <br />
