Contracts Award for Vehicle Body Repair <br />March 1, 2016 <br />Page 2 <br />The bids were opened on February 2, 2016 and evaluated (Exhibit A). All five bids, four from <br />Santa Ana vendors, are responsive to the specifications and meet the City's requirements. Staff <br />recommends awarding contracts to all five vendors to allow for flexibility in scheduling and <br />optimal utilization. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />Approval of this item assists the City's effort to meet Goal #6 Community Facilities & <br />Infrastructure, Objective #2, (address deferred maintenance on City buildings and equipment). <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Funds in the amount of $50,000 for the remainder of FY 2015 -16 are available in the Equipment <br />Maintenance — Garage Operation account (07510100- 62322). Subsequent funding in the amount <br />of $125,000 will be budgeted and made available in FY 2016 -17.
