Siemens, Inc. Agreement Amendment for Video Security System Enhancement <br />April 5, 2016 <br />Page 3 <br />Emergency Operations Center, a Mobile Command Post or Patrol Vehicle. It will expand the <br />ability to provide a Common Operating Picture to more partners during an incident while <br />maintaining control over user access. Licenses will be able to be issued to outside Federal, <br />County, or local law enforcement on a temporary basis, and then retrieved once the event has <br />concluded. This purchase will add $9,720 to the base contract amount. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />Approval of this item supports the City's efforts to meet Goal #1 - Community Safety, Objective <br />#1 (Modernize the Community Policing philosophy to improve customer service, crime prevention <br />and traffic /pedestrian /bicycle safety), Strategy J (Partner with downtown business and merchant <br />associations to enhance security measures and provide a safe environment [e.g. video <br />surveillance, additional security and police efforts, etc]). <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />The prevailing wage amendment for $66,000, the Jail Facility improvements for $15,041, and the <br />software enhancement for $9,720 will be charged to the FY 2015 -2016 Criminal Activities Fund — <br />DOJ Contract Services account (02614450 62300).
