MINUTES <br />MOTION: Approve the minutes of the regular meeting of January 25, 2016. <br />* * * END OF CONSENT CALENDAR * * * <br />BUSINESS CALENDAR <br />COMMISSIONER COMMUNICATION DISCLOSURE (REGARDING AGENDIZED <br />PROJECTS): - No disclosures made <br />1. PLANNING COMMISSION BYLAWS AMENDMENT <br />Planning Manager Candida Neal clarified the amendment to Bylaws section no. 8 (a) <br />through (d) related to abstentions and conflicts of interest. Commissioner <br />McLoughlin noted that the bylaws were missing the portion related to appointment of <br />a Planning Commission representative on the Historic Resources Commission. <br />AMENDED MOTION: Adopt a resolution approving the amendments to the <br />Planning Commission bylaws as presented, as well as adding subsection 11 <br />(d) (Commission Officers) related to the election of a Planning Commission <br />representative appointment to the Historic Resources Commission. <br />MOTION: McLoughlin SECOND: Mill <br />VOTE: AYES: <br />Alderete, Bacerra, Bauer, Gartner, Mill, Nalle, Verino (7) <br />NOES: <br />None (0) <br />ABSTAIN: <br />None (0) <br />ABSENT: <br />None (0) <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />2. CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 2015-26 <br />(Applicant: Verizon Wireless/Core Development) <br />Legal notice published in the Orange County Reporter on January 26, 2016 and <br />notices mailed January 27, 2016. <br />A project overview was provided by Ricardo Soto, Assistant Planner I. Chairman <br />Gartner opened the public hearing. The applicant spoke in support of the project <br />and made herself available to answer any questions.
