Approve plan and promotion elements <br />Completion Criteria: <br />This task is considered complete upon the completion or booking and scheduling of the <br />deliverables, given media requirements in some instances for upfront payment and when the <br />Santa Ana Project Manager signs the task completion letter. Planned completion and <br />implementation will be by spring 2017. <br />TASK 5: EDUCATION -BASED OUTREACH <br />Objective: <br />Continue to execute activities with OC education organizations, schools and after - school <br />programs to support ROC emergency preparedness efforts and the Promise to Prepare <br />initiative. This includes advancing and increasing program exposure by creating and <br />implementing programming that elevates the Ready Fox character as an even more dominant <br />anchor for assembly, community and expanded media outreach. <br />Task Description: <br />See sub -tasks for specifics. <br />Responsibilities: <br />See sub -tasks for specifics. <br />Completion Criteria: <br />This task is considered complete when all budgeted sub -tasks have been completed in their <br />respective entirety. <br />TASK 5 -A: READY FOX MASCOT EXPANSION PROGRAM (SUMMER/FALL 2016) <br />Objective: <br />Craft and implement an elevated role for the Ready Fox character from a puppet to a mascot <br />that helps significantly expand exposure opportunities for all education programming. This <br />includes continuing to connect the character with the successful Officer Friendly school and <br />after - school assembly initiative, but transitioning the "leadership" of efforts to Ready Fox. This <br />will be accomplished through a multitude of activities, including expanded assemblies, <br />presentations to community and stakeholder groups, bus advertising and more. <br />Task Description: <br />Handle all aspects of programming, materials development and distribution, school assemblies <br />and other activities /events. This task includes creating a 3 -4 page work plan complete with a <br />calendar of planned milestone moments. <br />Broadly, activities are anticipated to include <br />Ready Fox Characterization — explore opportunities to elevate the Ready Fox character <br />to eventually serve as an anchor communication tool for outreach to students. A plan of <br />potential options will be provided to the Project Manager for review, consideration and <br />approval. <br />Milestone Moments — identify, pursue and coordinate formal recognition opportunities <br />(OC Board of Directors, City of Santa Ana council, etc.) for Officer Friendly and the <br />
