Memorandum of Understanding with Mandated Partners and County of Orange <br />June 7, 2016 <br />WIOA Title IV Vocational Rehabilitation <br />California Department of Rehabilitation <br />Carl Perkins Career Technical Education <br />Santa Ana Unified School District <br />Title V Older Americans Act <br />SER — Jobs for Progress <br />Job Corps <br />Long Beach Job Corps <br />Native American Programs — Section 166 <br />Southern California Indian Center <br />Community Services Block Grant <br />Community Action Partnership of OC <br />Housing and Urban Development <br />City of Santa Ana Housing Authority <br />Unemployment Compensation (UI) <br />California Employment Development <br />Department <br />Second Chance <br />Orange County Sheriff's Department <br />Temporary Assistance for Needy <br />Families /CalWORKS <br />Orange County Social Services Agency <br />City staff developed the MOU boilerplate language and are in the process finalizing the exhibits <br />with the mandated organizations (Exhibit 1). Due to time constraints, the Orange County Social <br />Services Agency and the Orange County Sheriff's Department have requested a joint MOU to <br />expedite the County's administrative process (Exhibit 2). The State has encouraged use of <br />regional joint MOUs when appropriate. Both MOUs meet the Phase I requirement. Staff <br />recommends City Council's approval of both MOUs. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />Approval assists the City in meeting Goal #2 Youth, Education, Recreation, Objective #4 (Partner <br />with groups and organization to promote education, senior services, job training and development <br />for all Santa Ana residents). <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />There is no fiscal impact associated with this action. <br />Robert C.
